Police: 2 shot in leg during parade, 2 questioned

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - New Orleans police say two men were shot in the leg during a Carnival parade, and two others were being questioned.
Police spokesman Frank Robertson says neither victim was seriously hurt and one was only grazed Thursday night.
Police spokeswoman Remi Braden says that within seconds, police had a 16-year-old in custody as a possible gunman. She says the juvenile put a gun into trash as officers chased him, but they recovered it. Because he's a juvenile, his name was withheld.
Robertson says the Krewe of Chaos floats were stopped to let ambulances through. After that, the parade resumed. It was one of three on Thursday night.
Carnival parades roll through New Orleans for the two weeks before Mardi Gras, which will be Feb. 21 this year.
