Plantation Elementary receives interactive technology

August 23 - The Supriya Jindal Foundation for Louisiana's Children is proud to announce the award of interactive technology to Plantation Elementary. The Foundation, with Cox Communications and charter partner, Walmart, has awarded one interactive whiteboard system to Plantation Elementary. The award package includes the following: a laptop, a Promethean interactive whiteboard with speaker system, an interactive response system that will allow students to actively participate in the lesson, all installation, and instructor training for all teachers. To date, the Foundation has awarded interactive whiteboard systems to over 290 classrooms across Louisiana.
