PINEVILLE, La. (AP) - A 44-year-old Pineville man has been cited by Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Enforcement Division agents for allegedly possessing three spotted fawns.
The Town Talk reports agents visited the home of 44-year-old Timothy C. Toms and found three spotted fawns being kept illegally on July 20. Authorities said Monday Toms allegedly told the agents he had been given the fawns by three different people and intended to raise them.
Toms received three different citations, and each count of possession of a spotted fawn carries a fine between $500 and $750 or jail time between 15 and 30 days.
