START, La. (AP) - Engine trouble forced a Monroe pilot to land his small plane on a farm road in Richland Parish.

Sheriff Lee Harrell says Ben Albritton took off from Monroe Regional Airport on Thursday afternoon but began having problems with the engine.

Harrell says Albritton managed to put the plane down on Comeaux Road, just south of Interstate 20 and west of Louisiana 133 in Start.

No one was injured.
