The Acadiana Center for the Arts and Downtown Lafayette is breaking ground on a new 300 seat world class performing arts facility on Vermilion St.
Phase II for the Center will include a flexible multi-use floor plan. There will be sound and visuals from anywhere in the house. The new theatre will host afternoon youth group meetings, theatre rehearsals, evening recitals, concerts, events, film screenings, presentations, public gatherings, banquets, general meetings and pageants.
The new theatre will be a permanent home to Louisiana Crossroads, Louisiana Folk roots, and Resident Theatre Company. The new facility will also be available outside presenters and other regional arts organizations.
