Pedestrian Hit on I-10 in Scott Dies From Injuries

A pedestrian struck by a vehicle on the N. University off ramp of I-10 in Scott, has died from his injuries. Alfred Francis was hit on August 29. Police say the vehicle was approaching the off ramp when Francis stepped in its path for an unknown reason. He suffered injuries to the left side of his body and head. Francis died from his injuries on Wednesday September 1st, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes in Lafayette.
