Release From Police:
On February 4, 2010 at approximately 10:53 AM the Franklin Police Department responded to a call of a welfare concern at #6 Darce Drive. Meals on Wheels called and advised that they had gone to the that residence to deliver meals and there was no answer, which was odd so they called the police department. Upon officers arrival they located the door partially open and discovered a male and a female in the residence that were not responsive. The female was identified as AUDREY PICARD, 75, of Franklin and LARRY GUILLORY, 46, also of Franklin. Both resided at that residence. Cause of death is not being released until an autopsy is performed on both victims. The autopsy is scheduled for this morning in Jefferson Parish. Police do expect foul play and the deaths are being investigated as homicides. The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office and the Morgan City Police Department are assisting ths Franklin Police Department with this investigation. Anyone with any information are urged to contact the Franklin Police Department at 337-828-1716.
