Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center has opened the doors to its brand new hospital on Ambassador Caffery this morning. Patients were transferred to the new hospital by way of Acadian Ambulance at 6:00 a.m. today.
As of today, Lourdes' hospital will operate fully at its new Ambassador location. Lourdes urges the community to be aware that the St. Landry emergency room and hospital will no longer be admitting patients.
Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center is an acute care facility with over 20 satellite centers and clinics serving as the cornerstone of Lafayette's medical corridor.
