NEW ORLEANS (AP) - More than 600 people are expected to participate in a candlelight vigil and march in New Orleans to call attention to the problem of rape and other forms of sexual violence.
Loyola, Tulane and Dillard universities are partnering for the event, which is known as "Take Back the Night."
The event is set for Wednesday night.
A Loyola University news release says the ceremony begins on the Marquette lawn of Loyola's main campus. Then, participants march to Tulane University's nearby campus, where survivors of sexual violence are to share their stories.
