Opelousas Police Make Drug Bust at Teen's Home

An Opelousas teen is in jail after police say they found drugs and a gun in his bedroom. Police have charged 18-year-old Shaquille Carriere with multiple drug counts. Investigators say an informant led them to Carriere's residence, where they say they say they found ecstasy, marijuana, and a handgun. Carriere is being held on $69,000 bond. The case remains under investigation.
