Opelousas police arrested a man for armed robbery and theft

Opelousas police have arrested Kevin James Comeaux on two separate warrants.
Police say in September, Comeaux approached a female at gunpoint. He is accused of taking her cell phone and $300. Then in November, police say, Comeaux went to a local department store and stole merchandise valued over $500.
Comeaux is the suspect in several other thefts throughout Opelousas therefore, will be facing additional charges.
