Opelousas Man Shot in Rear-End

Opelousas Police are investigating a shooting that took place Saturday around 12:30pm on Larcade Street.
Police Chief Perry Gallow said officers were in the area when the heard gunfire and responded to the scene. When officers arrived, they found 20 year-old Michael Taylor laying on the ground with a gun shot wound in his rear-end.
Taylor was taken to Lafayette General Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Gallow said Taylor is not cooperating with police, however they do have several persons of interest in the shooting.
