Opelousas Man Identified as Victim in Monday Crash

State police have identified the victim killed Monday night in a head-on collision near Arnaudville. The accident took place near the corner of LA 93 and Bayou Fuselier Road. Investigators say the truck driven by 68-year-old Paul Young of Opelouas crossed the center line and struck an oncoming car. Young was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle, 57-year-old Beatrice Rabalais of Lake Arthur, sustained moderate injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
