OPD Conducts "Bad Girl Club" Arrests For Prostitution

In the early evening hours of November 19th, the Opelousas Police Dept Crime Suppression Team initiated a sting operation called Opelousas "Bad Girls Club".
The investigation was to target the arrest of females who walk the streets of Opelousas neighborhoods offering to sell themselves for money. These ladies are typically drug users who use prostitution to support their drug habits.
The goal of the operation was not only to arrest these violators but to attempt and deter this activity in the future as it is an eye sore for neighborhood residents.
Four females, Kristi Catlett, Janet Rosette, Juan Hammond, and Keegan Cochran were all charged with Prostitution.
