OPD Arrests Second Chevron Shooting Suspect

Opelousas police have made a second arrest in connection with an October 7 shooting at a Creswell Lane gas station. Twenty-nine-year-old Ryan Mayo is charged with attempted first-degree murder, obstruction of justice, and aggravated criminal damage to property. Police have not released any specifics regarding Mayo's role in the incident. This is the second arrest police have made in connection with the case. Lamar James, who is accused of being a gunman, was arrested Sunday and charged with attempted first-degree murder.
