One Arrested, Suspects Sought in Aggravated Burglary

LAFAYETTE, La.- Lafayette Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating aggravated burglary suspects.

On January 18, 2013, at 12:20 am, Lafayette Police responded to the 100 block of Wallace Drive regarding an aggravated burglary incident. According to police, the victims said that 3-4 black male suspects entered the residence without their permission and held them at gunpoint. The suspects demanded money and stole a cell phone from one of the three victims according to authorities. The suspects then fled the scene.

Officers responding to the scene located one of the suspect's in the area. The suspect was apprehended and questioned about the incident. Trey Johnson, 18, of Lafayette was arrested and charged with Aggravated Burglary. Investigators continue to investigate the incident and identify the other suspects.
