Olla teenager dies in accident

OLLA, La. (AP) - State police say a teenager from Olla was killed in a single-vehicle crash.
The victim was identified as 16-year-old Madison Breann Shelton.
Troopers says Shelton was driving a pickup west on a parish road near Olla Monday when the vehicle went out of control, left the roadway and began overturning.
Officers say Shelton was not wearing her seat belt and was partially ejected. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
