Oklahoma Motorcyclist Killed in La. Accident

BOSSIER CITY, La. (AP) - An Oklahoma motorcyclist died in a two-vehicle crash south of Bossier City, La.Louisiana State Police say 37-year-old Michael Dodson of Owasso, Okla., was driving a 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle east along Sligo Road Tuesday afternoon when it crossed the center lane and struck head-on a Chevrolet truck driven. Troopers say Dodson was pronounced dead at the scene and the truck driver suffered moderate injuries.Investigators tell The Times Dodson was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash but it was not a U.S. Department of Transportation approved helmet.
