CETCO Oilfield Services broke ground yesterday on a new $8 million facility for its coiled tubing division in New Iberia. The facility will include a new office, warehouses, and laydown yard totaling 33,000 square feet of building and 6 acres of laydown yard. The new facility will add another 60 jobs to the area on top of the 190 new personnel added to the CETCO Coiled Tubing division in the past two years. Additionally, the project will employ 40 people to construct the state-of-the-art facility located along Highway 90 near New Iberia. Built by J.B. Mouton Inc., designed by The Duplantis Design Group, and developed by Paul Beaullieu, the site is expected to provide expanded in-house services, quicken equipment turn-around, reduce downtime, and accommodate more staff. The new build coincides with additional expansion of their training facility in Broussard.
