BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal has asked the federal Small Business Administration to make special loans available in six parishes.
If granted, economic disaster loans would be available to small businesses and private non-profits affected by the oil spill.
The request covers Jefferson, Lafourche, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard and St. Tammany parishes.
