Press Release: The La. Board of Ethics (BOE) recently filed charges against the following officials alleged to have violated the state's Code of Governmental Ethics, Campaign Finance Disclosure Act, or Lobbyist Disclosure Acts: Larry Elkins (2009-120), John Lemoine (2009-684), Rob Marionneaux (2009-807), Thomas Robichaux (2010-585), Ulysses "Bones" Addision (2010-587), Bruce McCarthy (2010-592), Leroy "Roy" Scott (2010-593), and Pride Doran (2010-645).
BOE and the Louisiana Ethics Administration are charged with administering and enforcing all aspects of the code and related acts as part of a greater effort to instill public confidence with regard to government officials, public employees, candidates, and lobbyists by achieving overall compliance and providing access to disclosed information.
