Officer booked in battery on wife

CLINTON, La. (AP) - East Feliciana Parish sheriff's deputies have arrested a Clinton police officer on a domestic abuse complaint.
Sheriff Talmadge Bunch tells The Advocate 52-year-old Ronnie Harrell was booked with domestic abuse battery and released on bail.
Detective Don McKey says Harrell's wife accused him of striking her during an argument at their home Wednesday.
It couldn't be determined if Harrell has an attorney.
