Rain and a few storms will cross Acadiana today and tonight as Gulf moisture continues to stream northward ahead of a cold front. Most of the area should receive around 3/4 of an inch of rain before the front moves through late tonight and early Wednesday.
The cold front isn't expected to drop temperatures much. Humidity will drop a bit, but temps are expected to remain above normal for the rest of the week. Another chance for rain appears for Sunday into Monday with some cooler weather next week.
