Oakdale man killed in crash

PITKIN, La. (AP) - State police say an Oakdale man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on La. Highway 10 west of Pitkin.
The victim was identified as 21-year-old Kord Lee Harrelson.
Troopers say the accident occurred around 6 a.m. Tuesday as Harrelson was driving a 2000 Ford Explorer on La. 10 and crossed the centerline, colliding with a 2006 Kenworth 18-wheeler driven by 48-year-old Talmadge K. Sigler of Hornbeck.
Investigators say Harrelson was not wearing his seat belt and was ejected.
Sigler suffered minor injuries and was taken to Oakdale Medical Center.
