NW Thruway Closed Due to Oil Spill

An oil spill has part of the Northwest Evangeline Thruway closed at this hour. Lafayette police say the area between Congress and the railroad tracks is closed due to the accident. Officials say the road will be closed for at least an hour while they work to clean the area.
