As you may know, November is Alzheimer's disease awareness month.The Alzheimer's foundation of America is hosting national memory screening day today.
NMSD provides free, confidential memory screenings to individuals concerned about memory loss with the objective of early detection and intervention, with a goal of ensuring a diagnosis early enough to take advantage of available treatments and therapies. Undergoing memory screening early has the benefit of helping family members and caregivers assess the health of their loved ones and determine the proper course of treatment.
