NEW ORLEANS (AP) - New Orleans Police are asking for the public's help in finding 47-year-old Officer Bryant Louis, who was last seen leaving his residence on Sunday.

Police say foul play is not suspected but Louis has not been seen or heard from since his departure at about 4 p.m. Police spokesman, Officer Hilal Williams, said in a news release that Louis' disappearance is "uncharacteristic of him."

Louis is described as an African-American, about 5'8" tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He could be traveling in the Baton Rouge area, driving a red, 2004 Dodge Ram pickup truck with license plate number W971803.

Anyone with information on Louis' whereabouts is asked to call 504-821-2222.
