An LSU student is accused of trying to kill her mother, and her accomplice has indicated it was all in an effort to get inheritance money. That's according to nola.com, which cites paperwork filed in Criminal District Court in New Orleans.
19-year-old Nichole Boover and 18-year old Nathan Yuhas are facing charges in connection with the shooting.
Documents obtained by nola.com indicate the pair purchased gloves, duct tape and masks similar to those worn by the killers in the "Scream" movies.
Police say Boover went to her mother's residence, knocked on the door, and when her mother answered, the daughter allegedly raised a silver-colored handgun. The mother shut the door, but Boover allegedly still fired the gun. No one was injured, and police caught up with Boover back at LSU.
