NEW ORLEANS (AP) - City officials will hold a briefing Wednesday for individuals and businesses seeking to do disaster-related business with the city.
The session, which will focus on debris removal, is planned for 4-5:30 p.m. at the Mosquito, Termite and Rodent Control Board office, 2100 Leon C. Simon Blvd.
Information will be provided on basic requirements for pre-qualifying to work with the city.
The session is open to companies using hauling equipment with a capacity greater than 30 cubic yards, bulldozers, forestry trucks and front end loaders. Individuals over age 18 interested in working as debris removal monitors also can attend.
