No one was injured when a fire broke out around 3:06 this afternoon at Fox Run, an apartment complex at 605 Fox Run in Lafayette. "The apartment building had four separate units, only three were occupied," said Lafayette Fire Dept. spokesperson Alton Trahan. Plumbers were on the apartment grounds doing service work, and the fire department's initial investigation indicates they were working on a leaking water line. The fire started in the exterior wall.
Five Red Cross volunteers are assisting residents.
