HOUMA, La. (AP) - The last of three family members accused of trying to bribe a juror in a relatives' criminal case has been arrested.
Terrebonne Parish sheriff's deputies tell The Courier 24-year-old Tiara Wolfe of Houma was booked Monday with jury tampering in the drug trial of her uncle, 43-year-old Travis Bonvillain, of Schriever.
Bonvillain was set for trial last week, but he pleaded guilty before it started.
Detectives say members of his family are accused of offering money to a juror the day before the trial date in exchange for a not-guilty vote.
The other two facing jury tampering charges are Bonvillain's father, 75-year-old Jim Bonvillain, and Travis Bonvillain's sister, 43-year-old Cheramie Jupiter.
All three have bonded out of jail.
It was unclear whether the suspects have attorneys.
