If you're caught igniting fireworks in Jeanerette, you will be arrested.

They're one of several cities who passed ordinances banning fireworks.

Grand Coteau is also on that list. But, it's still okay to launch them on New Year's Eve in unincorporated areas of many parishes.

In the city limits of Rayne, Scott, Broussard, Youngsville, Carencro, Sunset, Breaux Bridge, Ville Platte and Eunice you are able to fire them off.
