New Wingate Hotel

A brand new Wingate by Wyndham opened April 23 on Kaliste Saloom near the airport. Three local brothers Greg Gachassin, Phil Gachassin, and Nick Gachassin say they want to give back to the community and put people right here in Acadiana to work.
"Even during these tough economic times, Lafayette remains strong because of its close knit communities, strategic planning, distinguished political officials, and risk-taking investors. Let's keep Lafayette thriving" said the brothers.
The brothers are calling this Lafayette's newest upscale select-service hotel.
