A new trial date has been set for a woman accused of swapping two children in her care in exchange for a pet bird and $175.
Donna Greenwell's trial was originally set for Monday, but the parish Clerk of Court's Office says the new trial date is February 22.
The Evangeline Parish couple involved, Brandy and Paul Romero, pleaded guilty and received suspended five-year sentences.
The children are now in state custody.
