Drivers beware, Louisiana State Police will begin enforcing new laws today.
Everyone in a vehicle, both in the front and back seats, are now required to buckle up.
Motorists may only use the use the left lane on a multi-lane road for passing, turning, and allowing room for emergency vehicles..
Using the left lane for travel will result in a citation and vehicles must allow bicyclists at least three feet of clearance when they are passing them on the roadway.
