Event Information and Special Notes- The New Student Convocation marks the official academic entrance of the Class of 2015 to the student community at UL Lafayette. All new students are required to attend this event. The theme is Celebrate: Community, Culture and College. Guest speakers will be UL Lafayette President Dr. Joseph Savoie, Political Science Professor Dr. Ryan Teten and SGA President Kylie Templet. Following the convocation, all students are invited to a cookout, free live music and other festivities at Cajun Field. This is a new (annual) event at UL Lafayette.
