New Orleans woman found dead in her home

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - New Orleans police are investigating the death of a 27-year-old woman who was found dead inside her home overnight.

Police say the unidentified woman was found early Monday morning with blunt force trauma to her body. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

Authorities say the name of the woman is being withheld pending family notification, and the Orleans Parish Coroner will determine the cause of death.
