New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival Line-Up Announced

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival
has released its day-by-day lineup for this spring's event.
They have also added Juan Luis Guerra y 440, a Dominican singer
who has sold over 20 million records and won nine Latin Grammy
Awards, two Grammy Awards, and two Latin Billboard Music Awards, to
the Sunday, April 25 lineup.
Performances for the event, held over two weekeneds, also will
include Simon & Garfunkel, Pearl Jam, Aretha Franklin, Van
Morrison, The Neville Brothers, Lionel Richie, Allman Brothers
Band, and dozens of others.
The festival's annual fundraiser on Thursday, April 22, will
honor Dr. John and celebrate his more than 50 years in music.
