New Orleans hospital to teach for U of Tabuk

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - A New Orleans-area health care system has signed a long-term partnership with a university system in Saudi Arabia.
Ochsner Health System says faculty, staff and students from the medical school and other health-related schools at the University of Tabuk will come to Louisiana for education and training.
A news release says some students from the University of Tabuk's medical school were in clinical rotations at Ochsner last summer, and 12 more are expected this summer. It says a Tabuk faculty member holds an academic fellowship at Ochsner, and more are expected to do so in coming months.
The statement says Ochsner will also develop research collaborations with faculty at Tabuk and will offer fellowships in hospital management.
