When UL received the invitation to the New Orleans Bowl, they were given 6,000 tickets to sell. Then they got 6,000 more. Then 6,000 more. Now we're at 18,000 UL tickets sold.
The excitement is building for the Ragin' Cajuns trip to the Big Easy this weekend, and it looks like we're going to see a whole lot of red in the Superdome. Tickets to the New Orleans Bowl are going fast. UL ticket manager Shivaun Bertrand says there are only about 600 left, and if you've been putting off getting your tickets, you better act fast.
"There's a lot of people buying on the Internet and as we get those Internet orders we're filling them right away, contacting them and telling them to come pick up their tickets, so I wouldn't wait, come now to get them because I think we're going to sell out of our allotment and I don't think the Superdome's going to give us anymore."
Thursday is the last day to pick up your tickets at the UL ticket office. Beginning Friday tickets will be available to pick-up in New Orleans.
