Strong winds have grounded firefighting aircraft in southern New Mexico, where a 40-square-mile fire continues to burn. Crews are also fighting a 22-square-mile wildfire that's burning in Colorado about 15 miles west of Fort Collins. The blazes have forced hundreds from their homes and the evacuation of wolves from a sanctuary.
