New Iberia man charged with felony hit-and-run

NEW IBERIA, La. (AP) - Louisiana State Police say 37-year-old Curtis Williams of New Iberia has surrendered to authorities and identified himself as the man driving a Ford Ranger that struck and killed a pedestrian.
Troopers say 39-year-old Renee Green of New Iberia was struck Friday while walking south on Louisiana 675. The vehicle fled the scene.
Williams was booked into the Iberia Parish Jail for felony hit-and-run Sunday night.
It wasn't immediately clear if Williams has a lawyer. The crash remains under investigation.
