New Iberia Man Charged With Aggravated Incest

On May 18, 2010 the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office arrested Chad Lege, 31, New Iberia, in reference to sexual abuse that occurred with a female juvenile subject approximately nine years ago. The victim recently filed a report with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office and following an investigation of the allegations, he was subsequently charged with the following offense: La. R.S. 14:78.1 (5 counts) Aggravated Incest.
He was booked into the St. MartinParishCorrectionalCenter on the above charges and his bond was set at $ 150,000.00.
