New gubernatorial appointments, reappointments made to several departments

BATON ROUGE- Gov. Bobby Jindal made several appointments Friday to various state departments. A list of gubernatorial appointments is provided below.

Appointment to the Board of Tax Appeals:

Cade Cole, of Lake Charles, is an attorney at Sigler & Raglin, Justice of the Peace of Calcasieu Parish Ward 6, and Magistrate Judge for the DeQuincy City Court. Cole was nominated by the Local Tax Division nominating committee and will serve as a gubernatorial appointment, as required by statute.

Reappointments to the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy:

Richard "Andy" Soileau, of New Iberia, is the owner of Soileau's Pharmacy and a regional director for the Louisiana Pharmacists Association. Soileau will be reappointed to serve as a representative of the third pharmacy board district, as required by statute.

Jacqueline L. Hall, of New Orleans, is a pharmacy manager for Walgreens and has been a registered pharmacist with the state of Louisiana since 1985. Hall will be reappointed to serve as a representative of the second pharmacy board district, as required by statue.

Ronald Moore, of Baton Rouge, is a pharmacist and the president of Spectrum Baton Rouge, LLC. Moore will be reappointed to serve as a representative of the sixth pharmacy board district, as required by statute.

Carl Aron, of Monroe, is a pharmacist and the owner of Aron's Pharmacy. Aron will be reappointed to serve as a representative of the fifth pharmacy board district, as required by statute.

Marty McKay, of Alexandria, is a pharmacist at Pearson's Drugs. McKay will be reappointed to serve as a representative of the eighth pharmacy board district, as required by statute.

Appointments to the Addictive Disorder Regulatory Authority:

Shaneeka Harrison, of Zachary, is a Patient Liaison and Counselor at the Behavioral Health Group New Orleans Westbank Treatment Center. Harrison is a Certified Compulsive Gambling Counselor, an Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and a Licensed Addiction Counselor. Harrison will be appointed to serve as member nominated by the Louisiana Association of Substance Abuse Counselors and Trainers, Inc., as required by statute.

A. Kenison Roy III, M.D., of New Orleans, is the Medical Director of Addiction Recovery Resources of New Orleans. Roy is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Tulane Medical School. Roy will be appointed to serve as a member nominated by the Louisiana State Medical Society who possesses significant knowledge in the area of addiction, as required by statute.

Bernadine Williams, of Harvey, is an assistant executive director got Raintree Children and Family Services and was formerly a program coordinator for Responsibility House Social Detox. Williams will be reappointed to serve as a member nominated by the Louisiana Association of Substance Abuse Counselors and Trainers, Inc. who has significant experience and knowledge in the area of compulsive gambling, as required by statute.

Appointment to the Board of Commissioners of the New Orleans City Park Improvement Association:

The Board of Commissioners for the New Orleans City Park Improvement Association serves to regulate the 1,300 acre park's operation and development. According to the New Orleans City Park Charter, the Governor appoints one member to the association.

Ray Seamon, of Mandeville, is the Senior Vice President at First NBC Bank located in the Greater New Orleans area. Seamon will be appointed to serve as a gubernatorial appointment, as required by statute.
