It's been weeks of close calls, but Natalie Lehr and Stanley McDonald are eager to bring home their newborn daughter Willow.
"We had a little bit of a problem with this pregnancy, we were here three other times thinking we were going to have her over the past three weeks, and this time we got to meet her", says McDonald.
Willow isn't the only bundle of joy being taken home Sunday...Nicola Blackwell, Marketing Coordinator for the hospital, says seven other babies will be checking out of Women's & Children's and into their new homes.
Blackwell says, "There's a different air, there's a lot more excitement. Having a baby is very exciting but on Father's Day it just makes it that much more special."
McDonald is ready to take home is "Tiger Cub" saying, ""I wanted to take her home in an LSU Tiger's Dress".
We asked him if there was anything he wanted to say to the newest member of the family.
McDonald told Willow, "Daddy loves you. This is the best gift I could have ever gotten. I just want you to do good in life. I'll always be proud of no matter what but, I'll always love you."
