New Blues and Heritage Fest starts this year

BOGALUSA, La. (AP) - There's a new blues festival coming this
year.
Chairwoman Malinda White says that the Bogalusa Blues and Heritage Festival will take place Sept. 29 in Cassidy Park. Its first fundraiser will be Feb. 17, the day before the city's carnival parade.
White says blues organizations, musicians and producers across the region are interested - and artists are interested in selling their work.
