The Franklin Domino's Pizza and the national Fire Protection Association (NFPA) are teaming up with the Franklin Fire Department to promote fire safety during Fire Prevention Week (Oct 9-15). On Thursday Oct. 10th, Franklin residents may be surprised when a fire truck delivers their order.
Residents with working smoke alarms will receive a 30 percent discount for Domino's, and residents with non working alarms will get a new one installed for free.
"Fire safety is very important ", says Leslie Pepper, Manager of the Domino's Pizza in Franklin. "We are thrilled to be working with the Franklin Fire Department on a program to promote the safety of our friends and neighbors and to reward those who make fire safety a priority."
"Functioning smoke alarms save lives, but many people forget to maintain the batteries," said Chief Chuck Bourgeois.
Customers can call the Franklin Domino's Pizza store, located at 212 Sterling Road, at 337-828-5570, on Thursday Oct. 10 from 4-8 PM to place their order and be eligible for the fire truck delivery.
