Narcotics Arrests in Vermilion Parish

The Vermilion / Municipal Narcotics Task force is asking for the community's assistance in locating two suspects that are being charged with narcotics related incidences. Leon Clark (DOB 5-27-80) and Skyla Saddler (DOB 9-7-85) are wanted for possession with the intent to distribute marijuana and possession with the intent to distribute cocaine. The charges arise from a search warrant that was executed off of 8th St. in Abbeville. Agents seized approximately two pounds of suspected marijuana and two "Cookies" of crack cocaine. The drugs have an estimated street level value of 9,000.00. Agent also seized $1503.00 in suspected drug proceed money. It is believed that while the investigation was being finalized and warrants were being obtained the two suspects fled to Texas to avoid arrest. Agents are in touch with Texas Law Enforcement officials in an attempt to locate the two suspects but the task force asks that if anyone has information with the whereabouts of the parties they can contact them anonymously or leave a tip on the website listed below.
Sheriff Mike Couvillon, Abbeville Mayor Mark Piazza, Abbeville Chief of Police Tony Hardy, commends the Narcotics Task Force for a job well done.
