Murder in Crowley Overnight

Press Release: Shortly before midnight, Crowley Police responded to a shooting call in the 1100 block of West 7th Street. Upon officers arrival, they located a black male who had been shot in the driveway of a residence. Officers and ambulance personnel rendered aid to the victim who later died at a local hospital.
The victim has been identified as Henry Hunter, 28 of Crowley. Hunter was shot one time in the head. Crowley Police are actively working this investigation to identify the motive and person responsible for this shooting.
Crowley Police urge anyone with information regarding this crime to call Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish at 789-TIPS (789-8477) or Crowley Police at 783-1234.
