Thursday, Sept. 19nd at 7:00 p.m., the Thensted Center in Grand Coteau hosts a Multilingual Open Mic. This free event features poems, songs and stories performed in different languages. Perhaps you speak Spanish, French, Vietnamese or Bambara? Read a poem, share a song, or tell a story. Feel free to participate, or just come to listen and enjoy the variety of music and poetry.
This free, community event is suitable for all ages. The reading is sponsored by The Festival of Words Cultural Arts Collective in partnership with the Thensted Center.
